Description :
Our Gate Valves serve as efficient on-off valves with flow in either direction. In this design, a wedge slides across a general passage in order to control the fluid. One of the most significant characteristics of this type of valves is its straight – through, unobstructed passage for the fluid to flow, when set in “full open” position (i.e. when the wedge is lifted entirely). As a result, the valve is characterized by minimum turbulence and pressure drop that take place during the operation. While gate valves are good for applications requiring these two factors, they are not recommended in places where throttling occurs. They are designed for on/off service only.
